Equinety leads to a speedy recovery for the once leader of the pack

JoAnne eldest horse went from leading the younger members of the herd to limping at the back after an injury didn't heal quite right. The vets told her that this was how life was going to be now for him. She still tried a number of remedies to no avail. Equinety renewed this horses attitude and his step.

John Dowdy:

Hello, and welcome to another episode of the Equinety Podcast. I'm your host, John Dowdy, and in this episode we're going to be talking with JoAnne. She's been dealing with an injured horse for about eight months and she believes that he's very depressed. Up until his injury, he was the leader of the herd, now he's taken a position in the back of the bus, so to speak. I should also mention that JoAnne is a huge skeptic when it comes to supplements. JoAnne called in earlier today and I sweet-talked her into sharing her Equinety story. So, Joann, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your story.

JoAnne:

Oh, you're welcome.

John Dowdy:

Tell us a little bit about what was going on with your house.

The Injury The Slowed Him Down

JoAnne:

Well, I have a 26-year-old gelding and for at least the last eight months he'd been lame in his one front leg, and it looks like maybe he had pulled a tendon in it and when it healed it didn't heal properly and it was making him club-footed. I had the farrier look at him, I had the vet look at him, and they figured that was just the way he was going to live, and maybe a little bute would help with the pain, but that was just going to be the way he was gonna be.

John Dowdy:

Right. And so, when we were chatting a little earlier, you said he was the boss of the herd and since all of that happened he wasn't so bossy anymore, huh?

JoAnne:

No, no, he'd kinda sit back in the background. People think I'm crazy, but seriously, he was depressed. I don't know if it was so much he was in pain or he just wasn't feeling himself. So I saw the Equinety product on Facebook, actually, and thought, "What the heck? I'm gonna try a sample pack of that."

JoAnne:

And I got my sample pack, I've been giving it to him religiously for only 15 days now and there is such a difference in that horse. It's unbelievable. He still has a slight limp. His attitude is totally, totally different. He's back to his old self again, with a very minor limp. And you can just see it. You can just see it. [inaudible 00:02:13] His coat is beautiful, coming in, his winter's hair's looking great. He's happy again.

John Dowdy:

Good. And back to being boss.

JoAnne:

And back to being the top boss. Yep. I have six other horses, and they're all a lot younger than him. But they all wait for him now. He's the boss again.

Nothing Else Seemed to Work

John Dowdy:

Wow. That is so awesome. So, have you tried any other things other than ... I mean, it was kinda came up with this and the vet and farrier said, "Well, that's just kinda how he is." Did you try anything else or?

JoAnne:

Well, we did. Actually, we tried massage therapy because that was something my vet had recommended. As far as other products on him, I hadn't really tried any other products. I had asked around about things, local shops around here. And there just wasn't anything that I felt real comfortable with, except for lotions and things that I would try to put on to loosen that ligament or that tendon. That wasn't working. That just wasn't [inaudible 00:03:17]. I think it was too old of an injury, you know?

John Dowdy:

Sure. So how long was the injury?

JoAnne:

I'm gonna say at least eight months, to maybe a year.

John Dowdy:

Okay, yeah. Yeah, 'cause we do have people that, similar situations, and they ask about old injuries. And I always tell people that there's such a high probability that Equinety will help, it's definitely worth a try. And you had mentioned to me how skeptical you were about trying the Equinety and I think you said, "Well, it's a dollar a day. What could it hurt?"

A Speedy Recovery

JoAnne:

Right, yeah. Well, when I saw the ad and I called in the first time, I didn't want to get the full bucket because I first wanted to try it. And so they suggested I did the sample pack. And I thought, "Well, okay. I'll try that and see if I notice any difference." I thought, "I don't know. Because it is an old injury, 15 days isn't very long." But within seven days I was noticing a big difference. It was pretty quick I was noticing a difference.

John Dowdy:

Right. Right. And, you know, we hear that a lot. And, of course, there's scenarios where things take months and five, six, seven months, but I would say that the probability of this helping within a week to two weeks, and definitely by thirty days, is very, very high. So, well that is so awesome. I'm sure you're excited and the horse is excited [crosstalk 00:04:50]

JoAnne:

I am. I'm so excited to think that I took the chance and tried it because I think anyone would be really, really crazy not to at least give it a try, you know?

John Dowdy:

Right. Right. Well, I couldn't agree with you more on that one.

JoAnne:

Mm-hmm (affirmative), it's a great deal. I haven't really seen any bad stories about it. You know, I reviewed it a lot before I purchased it and I haven't really seen any bad stories about it.

John Dowdy:

No, and [crosstalk 00:05:16]

JoAnne:

That's positive, too.

John Dowdy:

Yes, it is. Yes, it is. And when you said how skeptical you were, we love the skeptics. It's ...

JoAnne:

Right? Yeah.

John Dowdy:

Yeah, yeah. But, yeah, well, we're blessed in the fact that we have a product that works. I mean, it's not a pie in the sky deal. And when you're coming across and reading it for the first time, it's like, "Come on. This sounds way too good to be true."

JoAnne:

"Heard that before."

John Dowdy:

Yeah. And you know, that's a thing, too. We have people that they have a retired horse or some kind of an injury or something where they've had to retire their horse and they just want them to be able to live out the rest of their life as comfortable as possible. And more oftentimes than not, Equinety definitely helps with that as well. So we're blessed, for sure.

John Dowdy:

Well, JoAnne, thank you so much. I appreciate it. And please keep us posted.

JoAnne:

I will, thank you very much. Have a good day.

John Dowdy:

Okay, you too. Bye-bye.
